Robin Adsit received her B.F.A from the San Francisco Art Institute. She completed her M.A. in Painting and Drawing from San Francisco State University, and her M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from The Ohio State University. In 2009 she was awarded a residency at the 18th Street Arts Center in Santa Monica, and participated in their 20th anniversary open studio exhibition. She was awarded a residency at the Kimmel, Harding, Nelson Center for the Arts, in November, 2008. In 2003 Robin was the recipient of a Pollock- Krasner Foundation Grant. Robin’s work has appeared in numerous national and regional exhibitions and include, most recently: DE-MOBBING: Landscape, Structure, Bioform, a visual art exhibition at Headlands Center for the Arts, Public & Private: Figuratively Speaking, College of the Sequoias Art Gallery, Momentum, Gallery 825, Intimate Topography, HHEAL Environmental Arts Lab, 4 Person Exhibition at José Drudis-Biada Gallery, Mount St. Mary’s College, Open Art 2010, Claremont Museum of Art, Claremont, CA, and Trace, New Media Gallery, Ventura College. Robin Adsit has had the opportunity to teach at a variety of institutions. She currently is a faculty at CSU San Bernardino and Los Angeles City College and she lives in Claremont, California.
